Performance Testing

 

Mechanical performance: the grip force of the wire clamp is 1/10 bigger than the  break force of the lead. It comply with GB2314-1997.
Temperature rise performance: under the condition of big current, the temperature rise of connector is less than thatof connection lead.
Heat circle performance:200 times per second, 100A/mm2 big current overload, the change of connection resistance is less than 5%.
Waterproof insulation performance: under water for 30cm, input over 3.5kV voltage for 1 min, no break out.
● Resistance to corrosion performance: under the condition of SO2 and salt fog, it can do three times of fourteen days circle testing.
Environmental aging performance: under the circumstance of ultraviolet. radiation, dry and moist, expose it with change of temperature and heat impulse for six weeks.
Low temperature installation test:Connector and cable cooled down in a freezer or climate chamber below10℃ screw the nut until contact occurs.
Mechanical strength test of body :Bolt is tighteneduntil the nut shear off in the defned limits and the value will be recorded change the insert in the electronically torque moment key to a bigger one ,tighten the bolt with more than 1times of the max. Torque moment the body should not crack

Arrester Routine Tests:
Physical Inspection: Every molded rubber part, block, wrap module, brackets and completed unit is visually examined to reject defective products.
A/C Reference Voltage Test: This test measures the voltage once a predetermined maximum peak current is reached.Partial Discharge Test: This test ensures that the partial discharge level of the arrester does not exceed a level of 10 pC.
● Residual Voltage : Tested on individual blocks

Higher interrupt capacities
By using a copper arc-shortening rod attached to the dome nut inside the top of the fuse tube, lowering the fuse link, higher interrupt ratings are obtainable. It is necessary to use
fuse links with removable button heads when using an arc-shortening rod.

Creepage distance
Cutouts are available for use under various pollution conditi ons. Units are available in 245mm to 870mm, other creepage distance are available on request.

Extra Corrosion protection
All cutouts are available with components made from stainless steel and plated copper alloy, to offer greater corrosion resistance for severely aggressive environments where corrosion can become a major factor.
